Project Description

ECT performed a market intelligence study to obtain in-depth information to evaluate the evolution of the lubricants market in Mexico in the medium term. ECT developed information datasets that allowed us to have a first estimate of the vehicular park and the volume of sales of lubricants in Mexico by type of lubricant and market segment. On the supply side we analyzed participants who have manufacturing plants in Mexico and those who play an active role in the market through exports destined for the country. On the demand side we evaluated participants including OEMs, large distributors, auto manufacturer’s workshops and spare parts businesses, private workshops, special parts providers, lubrication service companies, self-service shops and gas stations.
