ECT provided services to the Mexican Ministry of Energy and Pemex, the state-owned company, to perform analysis and technical consultancy services during the process that sought to promote investment in a private petrochemical complex in the area of Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz in Mexico, called Project Ethylene XXI. Our services were provided to complement and interact with investment bankers (providing financial advisory services) and a team of legal advisors. The project culminated with the construction of a new grassroots petrochemical complex that required US$5.2 billion of capital investment.
